I started by pulling off the peel ply and the job looks very nice. Smooth with no air bubbles, just like it should be. There was nothing else to do but get started on the bulkhead so that�s what I did. I got #8 fitted into place, followed by #1 which fits into the side of #8. I removed #1 and started sanding down #8 to fit inside the top and bottom strake. This is a very labour intensive job as you have to put the top strake on, climb inside the fuselage with a flashlight and note where the bulkhead needs to be sanded. Take the top off, sand the bulkhead, put the top back on and go back inside. By 4 O�clock I was satisfied with #8 bulkhead. |
