The cutting of the doors was easier than I thought it would be. I simply drilled a 1/8 pilot hole just below the door stiffener approximately 3/8 away from the interior side of the strake. I enlarged the hole so that my air saw would fit through and then simply followed the inside of the strake around leaving about a from the edges. I used the air grinder to take it down real close and finished with an electric sander and hand sanding in the corners. Tomorrow I fill in the ends to close it out. |
