Another frustrating day as the newly install site gauges LED does not work. Now I will have to cut it all out and start again. I think I am going to switch to a simple 3/8� clear tube and write off the Vance Atkinson gauges, only $106.00 out of pocket. Why am I building this aircraft, oh yeah, education and recreation. Since I was so annoyed I just went on to finishing the top strake. I needed to sand the strake into the final position, remove approximately 1 �� off the bottom edge, remove 8 �� of the inside fiberglass along with the foam core and then cover with two ply�s of BID like so.
