With the cables up front I carried on with the Outside Air Temperature probe. The first thing was the amount of three conductor cable supplied is too short to run from the back of the aircraft to the instrument panel so I cut off another piece about ten feet long and spliced it on the end. Each conductor was soldered and covered with heat shrink tubing followed by one tubing over the entire splice.
